A 90-year-old woman was shot and killed near eSikhaleni on Saturday night.
Her boyfriend was wounded in the attack.
The couple were in their house in the Ncombo area at about 7.45pm, when they were approached by unknown suspects.
Ellen Mlaba was shot and killed and her boyfriend was seriously wounded and taken to hospital for treatment.
The motive for the attack unknown.
