VEHICLE drivers at the Port of Richards Bay are advised that the eastern side rail level crossing on Newark Road will be closed for construction work tomorrow (Monday) until noon.
The section closed is opposite the Transnet Freight Rail park home offices.
‘Port users are urged to observe the temporary road signs and to abide by the instructions of the flagmen and the stop/go controllers for the safety of all users,’ said the Transnet National Ports Authority (TNPA) in its notice.
An alternative route is shown on the map provided by the TNPA.
