THE Richards Bay Bowls Club offers an open invitation to any person wanting to learn to play lawn bowls.
Play starts every Friday from 2pm at their facilities situated off Weigelia street in the suburb of Veldenvlei – clear direction signage is available from the Sport Complex at Bullion Boulevard.
‘Bowls is easy if you put your mind to it,’ says Dirk Norval the resident coach at the Club.
‘All one needs is a pair of flat soled shoes or one can play barefoot.
‘Bring friends along and also enjoy the reasonable priced meals and refreshments at the bar.’
Free coaching as well as bowls (on loan) are available.
