LOCAL angler Renier Nortje had a great start to his long weekend, when he landed a 60kg kob at Mossel Bay on Saturday.
The Zululand shore angler slid a live mullet which proved irresistible for the kob.
‘My line took off like a freight train and I knew I was in for a good fight. The fight was hard but lekker and what makes it sweet is that I won,’ said Nortje.
