Drivers’ guide to parking lot etiquette

I really urge drivers to take it easy and abide by the rules when entering a parking lot.

AFTER a long day of work, most of us are ready to head home and would do anything to avoid visiting a busy shopping centre in the afternoon.

But sometimes it cannot be avoided.

As much as I dislike doing grocery shopping after a long day, it in no way gives me, or anyone else the authority to drive around the parking lot at top speed.
Day after day I am faced with drivers who intend on speeding and driving recklessly in the parking lot for no apparent reason.

Not only has my car almost been written off when trying to reverse, but their impatience and assertive manner when trying to overtake in a tiny lane has almost left me squashed under a drivers’ wheels before even making it into the shop.

I really urge drivers to take it easy and abide by the rules when entering a parking lot. As much as you would love to rush home at a thousand miles an hour, safety comes first.
