Opening the radio airwaves

A new community radio station will be launched in Nongoma.

COMMUNITY radio station, Nongoma FM will finally hit the airwaves next Monday, 1 June. The new establishment based at eMcebo Reserve will soon be entertaining and giving information to listeners in uThungulu, Zululand, uMkhanyakude, uMzinyathi and iLembe Districts.

It will also be received in Swaziland. It will broadcast mainly in IsiZulu and 30% English.

Among the invited guests to attend the launch are His Majesty King Goodwill Zwelithini, KZN Premier Senzo Mchunu, IFP president Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi, municipal and community leaders.
