Kwambonambi mother discovers 1-year-old child in bucket of water.
A KWAMBONAMBI toddler died after drowning in a 20-litre bucket of water.
According to the police report, one-year-old Zama Qwabe’s mother last saw the child playing with other children in the garden on Friday.
When the mother returned to the garden after having gone inside the house, she saw her child’s feet sticking out of the bucket, her head submerged.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
