WE read about the irate Mandlazini residents who are complaining about illegal dumping in their neighbourhood.
Well, this is from an irate Birdswood resident complaining about the illegal burning of refuse (plastics) during the late afternoons and night in the Mandlazini area.
When the north-easterly blows, we in the northern side of Birdswood cannot breath in our homes owing to noxious fumes engulfing our whole neighbourhood, causing burning eyes and throats.
Can the municipality not do something about this situation which has become progressively worse over the last two weeks?
