Biker dies in Birdswood collision
The man believed to be in his 40s died at the scene.
A MAN died in a motorbike accident at the intersection of Fish Eagle Flight and Gallinule Gait, Birdswood on Friday evening.
Exact detail to the accident is still speculative however, it is believed that the man (in his 40s) was on his way home from work when a car and the motorbike collided.
According to Chris Botha, Netcare 911 Media Liaison Officer, when paramedics arrived at the scene they found the biker lying in the road.
‘He was unresponsive and he died on scene due to the extensive injuries that he sustained,’ said Botha.
