MY husband and I have just spent a lovely Easter weekend caravanning at Mkuzi Game Reserve.
On our way there we took a wrong turn and ended up on a very poor road and were unable to tow our caravan up onto the road that would see us on our way.
We were helped by a number of the local people who kindly hitched our caravan onto their SUV and towed it up over the poor part of the road and then saw us safely to the correct road.
To the kind folk who helped us and then drove in front of us to the correct turning, we would like to say a very big ‘Thank You’.
It is heart-warming to know that there are still kind and considerate people in this lovely country of ours. Bless you and know that your considerate actions will not be forgotten.
We are long-standing members of the South African Camping Club and have been at the receiving end of help and have helped in turn, but this is the first time that complete strangers have been so considerate.
I hope that at least some of you will get to read this message and pass on our heartfelt thanks to the others involved.
