A MANGUZI man, Sazi Gumede, was convicted and sentenced to 15 years in prison for the brutal murder of his grandfather, Majabula Gumede.
The Ingwavuma Regional Court further declared Gumede unfit to possess a firearm.
In an argument that turned violent, Gumede repeatedly hit his grandfather with a gear lock before slitting his throat with a knife. Gumede was arrested at the scene on the same day.
