ZULULAND will step out to the sounds of ‘Susan’ and ‘Streets of Soweto’ when Soweto’s finest acapella group, The Soil, hits Empangeni for the second time later this month.
It will be about colourful skinny pants with thin belts, bubble dresses and swing skirts when the unique group deliver different sounds from their new album Nostalgic Movements on Friday, 27 March at the Imbizo Hall.
The three members of the group thrive at fusing their voices to deliver melodic and harmonious messages aimed at uplifting and healing souls.
Soul music fans will be taken on a soul journey back to the magic of Sophiatown through jazzy blues sequences influenced by a dash of township inspiration.
Native Rhythms collaborated with Eyona Entertainment to deliver a musical experience with polyphonic sounds to create a true eKasi experience.
Eyona Entertainment’s Managing Director Sihle ‘DJ 15’ Mvuyane, said since the group’s first appearance in Zululand last year, fans have requested a return of the popular award-winning group.
‘Fans have been waiting for this performance for a long time, and I’m happy that this time they we have a bigger venue to accommodate a larger audience.’
Tickets are available at Computicket at R200 or R250 at the door.
