Idolz to Oscarz – a musical hit
Empangeni High's bi-annual musical tells a story of hope.
A MUSICAL twist of love, talent and a future career on stage was the theme of the Empangeni High School’s bi-annual production Idolz to Oscarz.
The musical included singing, dancing and plenty of drama as the story of Jennifer, an aspiring singer hoping to one day make it big, slowly unfolds as she juggles her dreams and her complicated life at the same time.
Held over four days, the musical attracted large audiences who were pleasantly surprised by the outstanding performances of the pupils. as well as the artistic props that brought the show together.
