KZN Premier Senzo Mchunu has just announced that Mtubatuba Municipality will be dissolved with immediate effect.
A total of 38 councillors were fired at a special imbizo held at the municipality a short while ago.
The Mtubatuba Municipality has been plagued with corruptions, maladministration and poor performance for years.
This comes days after the DA called for the ‘renegade’ municipality to be dissolved.
