WORK on Paul Avenue, outside 87 and 64 Paul Avenue, Empangeni started on 12 January.
The road was dug up using a grader and municipal workers. We’re not sure what the problem was, but when they were finished, the hole was covered up.
No-one has been back to re-surface the area since, and it is causing further damage to the road and could seriously damage car wheels if the drivers do not negotiate their way around this obstacle.
A complaint was lodged with Thuli at uMhlathuze Municipality on Monday, 26 January, but still to no avail.
