Dominant win at home for KZNCD

KZNCD claimed a comfortable 55 run victory over Limpopo.

THE KZN Coastal Districts (KZNCD) team put in a solid all-round performance against Limpopo at Addison Park on Saturday in their South African Rural Cricket fixture, which resulted in a comfortable 55 run victory.

The home side won the toss and elected to bat.

After a poor start, Stephan Joubert (58) and Ashley Lombard (52) redirected the innings and helped their side reach 229/5 in their 50 overs.

It took just 47 overs for the KZNCD side to dismiss Limpopo for 174.

D Roodt top scored with 34 for the inland team, with Alverio Nadasen picking up two wickets for 28 runs.

The KZNCD squad will travel to Potchefstroom to compete in the South African Rural Cricket Week from 13 to 17 February.
