STOP handouts to beggars at traffic lights!

BEGGARS shamelessly prefer easy handouts to earning a honest living through hard work and they consistently harass the Richards Bay public at busy traffic intersections – often intimidating the vulnerable such as female drivers to part with their hard earned cash.

Ironically they are successful in their approach as many drivers just give a handout to get rid of them.

People generally mean well by handouts, but must understand that this just magnifies the social problem with more beggars now permanently flocking to Richards Bay to increasingly harass the public.

Beggars are not contributing any value to society, are often drug or alcohol addicts with criminal backgrounds, and now also invade the few of our recreational parks and beaches to harass the public there as well.

We as residents of Richards Bays must not tolerate and accept them in our town. They must return to where they came from.
