Dangerous manoeuvres on the beach
If found, the drivers of the SUV and bakkie may face serious legal consequences.

LATE afternoon onlookers at the Bay Hall beach area watched in amazement on Sunday as two people ‘made waves’ in the shallows after driving onto the beach.
While enthusiastically applauded by some of the remnant of another day’s fine recreation at the popular spot, others were disgusted at the potentially dangerous manoeuvres as well as the disregard for the environmental ban on beach driving.
Registration plate numbers of both vehicles have been forwarded to City Traffic and Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife officials for further action.
