A SOKHULU farmer’s wife was devastated when she found her husband murdered in his vegetable plantation on Monday morning.
Simon Mchunu left his home at 5am to work on his corn field.
At 9am, his wife started looking for him, but only found the 58-year-old victim at 8pm at the far edge of the plantation, with fatal stab wounds to the chest.
The KwaMbonambi SAPS have opened a case of murder, but have not yet arrested any suspects.
