Municipality brings back peace and quiet

I WOULD like to credit the uMhlathuze Municipality for putting up wooden poles at all recreational parks throughout Empangeni.

This has helped a lot with the prevention of drunken parties and misconduct in these areas.

My house is situated near one of these parks, and there used to be endless drunken parties, loud music and rubbish that littered the park.

The day of the week never mattered. Obviously weekends used to be a nightmare.

But with these new wooden poles, life has literally become peaceful again.

Only a handful of teens come visit the park, but leave before night-time.

This has helped solve the problem and I really want to thank the municipality for taking action.
