ZO team serves as an inspiration

I AM very grateful and honoured to have worked with, and met, the best journalists in Zululand.

During my internship at the Zululand Observer their passion for their job was evident, and this will inspire me to be equally dedicated in all projects that I will take up in the future.

Through my observations I learned how to follow up on leads, get the facts correct and also how working with a team that loves what they do can result in the best outcomes.

The editorial team assisted and supported me in giving me very useful pointers in my writing and also showed me the style of writing that most newspapers apply.

The rest of the staff at the Empangeni office treated me like I had been there for a months, and I will miss the friendly smiles and warm reception from them.
