Tight finishes in darts encounters

EMPANGENI Social Darts League teams took time out for a few friendly encounters on Wednesday.
Empangeni Rugby Football Club (ERFC) took on the Casino squad at Mick Kelly Park in a game that ended in a 5-all draw.
Players from both sides were on top of their game, which kept spectators and team-mates on the edge of their seats.
This was ERFC’s second consecutive draw.
In the game between Little Portugal and hosts Bar Reign, Little Portugal managed to edge in 6-4.
This game to came down to the last game of Nomination Killer, where the scoreboard read 5 to Portugal and 4 to Bar Reign.
But it was the visiting team who had the big match temperament and won the game to hand their side victory to make up for last week’s loss.
All four teams will be in action at Mick Kelly Park on Wednesday in the last fixtures of the year.
ERFC take on Little Portugal and Bar Reign will face off againast Casino.
Action starts at 6pm. A bring and braai will take place afterwards.
