Children trapped in swollen river
Emergency services launched a flood rescue near Ulundi.
HEAVY rains in the catchment of the Black iMfolozi River trapped four children who were swimming in the river this afternoon.
They were swimming near the R66 bridge, just outside Ulundi.
As the water rose, they swam to an island in the middle of the river.
Emergency personnel brought the children to shore.
