THE teen who survived a brutal stabbing near the Bay Hall, Alkantstrand on Saturday morning, is out of the ICU at eNgwelezane Hospital.
He was one of four pupils stabbed at the Richards Bay beach during the Pens Down festival.
The Ntongande High Grade 8 pupil was reported to have been stabbed more than seven times. Philani Gumede, Thobani Mkhize and Bongumusa Mathenjwa died on the scene.
A new case of assault is also being investigated, following accounts by another survivor.
