Seven burn to death in crash

It is unclear as to what happened, but it is believed that the vehicles were involved in a head-on collision.

POLICE officers from Gingindlovu SAPS on patrol early on Saturday morning found two burnt-out vehicles with seven bodies still inside near the Dokodweni turn-off.

The police are looking for family members or anyone who can shed light on the incident, as they only have descriptions of the vehicles to work with.

One vehicle, a White Mazda, has ND registration plates and contained five passengers.

The second vehicle is a silver Isuzu double-cab bakkie which had two occupants.

A case of culpable homicide is being investigated by police.
