Strike three for Thanda

THANDA Royal Zulu FC stunned NFD log leaders Golden Arrows with a thumping 3-1 win at Chatsworth yesterday.

Playing some amazing football, at times stringing together more than 20 passes, Amabhubesi were on top form.

Michael Gumede, Nzuzo Luthuli and Siduduzo Dlamini all found the back of the net.

The emphatic win was not only Arrows’  first loss of the season but also saw them yield first place on the log to Jomo Cosmos – who will be Thanda’s opponents at the uMhlathuze Stadium on Saturday.

Another win for the mighty lions, who are just five points off pole position, will see them one game away from leading the pack.

Thanda had the better of Cosmos earlier this year and will be looking to repeat the medicine.
