Ulundi recycling project takes off

When sorted, Power Rush Recycling will arrange for the transportation of the recyclable waste to a glass recycling depot.

FOLLOWING the successful hosting of a waste management summit by the Ulundi Municipality in September, a commitment was made by Elam Investments and Power Rush Recycling to assist the community in addressing the issue of collecting recycling materials.

Ulundi Director: Community Services, VT Sokhela, visited the recycling facility in Ulundi where community members were sorting waste under the watchful eye of Managing Director: Power Rush Investments, Ntokoso Mtembu,

When sorted, Power Rush Recycling will arrange for the transportation of the recyclable waste to a glass recycling depot.

Mtembu said that they are also investigating the provision of a temporary structure for housing the waste, as well as a scale to weigh the waste being collected.
