Touchies coming to a steaming end

Don't miss the finals of the touch rugby league at Mick Kelly Park on Saturday from 12.30pm.

THE popular annual Empangeni Rugby Football Club touch rugby league, sponsored by McCarthy Toyota Empangeni, is coming to an end this Saturday at Mick Kelly Park.

Tonight will see the men’s teams playing quarter-finals with the ladies section playing their semi-final games.

After weeks of action that produced many a great try and game to talk about at the bar, teams will lock horns for the final time on Saturday on finals day.

All teams, spectators and families are encouraged to come down to Mick Kelly Park on Saturday to support the teams that will be in action.

There will also be a jumping castle and slip-n-slide for the children and for the adults there will be music, a bring-and-braai and the Bok game will be on the big screen in the bar and beer garden.
