THANDA Royal Zulu continued their relentless climb towards the top of the table with a resounding 3-0 thrashing win against Black Leopards at the Thohoyandou Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.
They were off to a flying start when Menzi Hlophe bagged the first goal after 15 minutes.
They went one better in the second period, beating the home side’s defence twice more via Diamond Thopela and Ace ‘The Machine’ Bhengu to notch up an emphatic three points.
Depending on other Wednesday results not at hand at the time of going to press, Thanda could now occupy at least third spot on the National First Division log.
But their biggest test to date comes as they prepare to host log leaders Milano United at the uMhlathuze Stadium on Saturday but Thanda GM, Thabane Gumede is confident the boys will be up for a game that could have a great bearing on promotion as the season progresses.
