Speed limit increased on John Ross

Motorists can now speed up a little on the busy parkway.

IT’S full speed ahead on the John Ross Parkway…well, not quite, but erection of the new 100km/h signs between the N2 and the Hillside Smelter bridge began yesterday afternoon.

Planting the first sign as passing motorists hooted in appreciation were Royal Haskoning DHV engineer – Elroy Smith, Calefra Services’ foreman – Nicholas Zwane and project surveyor on behalf of the Department of Transport – Tim Fynn.
