Matric examinations for Independent Examinations Board (IEB) pupils begin today.
Felixton College, Grantleigh Schools and Richards Bay Christian School pupils sat to write Engineering Graphics and Design (EGD) this morning.
‘Today marks the start of the 2014 National Senior Certificate examinations for 9 978 full time candidates and 519 private candidates registered with the Independent Examinations Board,’ IEB CEO Anne Oberholzer said in a statement.
The exams will end on November 28.
The IEB anticipates that results will be released to pupils on 31 December 2014.
