The weekend’s inclement weather did not dampen festivities at the Zululand Diwali Festival and hundreds of locals flocked to Richards Bay to enjoy the jam-packed entertainment line-up marking the ‘festival of lights’ celebrations.
This year’s event was hosted by the Zululand Diwali Committee in conjunction with the Global Organisation for People of Indian Origin (Gopio), local stakeholders and businesses.
Despite a change in venue, the show got off to a fine start on Friday
