Bridgitte is the Sportswoman of the Year
Golden girl of Zululand named Sportswoman of the Year at the KZN Sport Awards.
ZULULAND’S canoeing queen Bridgitte Hartley was named Sportswoman of the Year at the KZN Sport Awards held at the International Convention Centre in Durban.
Top sportsmen and -women, coaches and administrators were honoured for their achievements at the event.
Former Zululander Lance Klusener (Dolphins cricket coach) lost out to Graham Hill (Olympic swimming coach) in the Coach of the Year category, with Ulundi volleyball star Zanele Ndwandwe missing out on the Junior Sportswoman of the Year award to swimmer Erin Gallagher.
