I WAS one of the many people who attended the Arbovlei CPF meeting on Thursday, where I was keen to hear about what is happening with all the crime.
Like all the others in my neighbourhood, I am afraid to leave my wife and kids when I go on shift, in case somebody breaks in and attacks them.
We have been robbed before but luckily we were not at home.
I was all ready to have my say and to hear others on the matter, especially the police so we could get answers.
But I was ashamed to be part of this as some ‘important’ residents just shouted down the cops any way they wanted.
No manners! They would rather attack the people than the problem.
No wonder the police have such low morale and are not lus to work.
Please accept my apologies on behalf of the idiots who think they are big deal.
I’m just a blue collar ou, but at least I was taught manners and respect for authority.
