Cooks grilled at braai challenge

Meat sizzled at the Boardwalk Inkwazi Shopping Centre's Charcoal and Chops Braai Challenge.

CITY braai masters braved the inclement weather on Saturday to showcase their culinary skills during the Boardwalk Inkwazi Shopping Centre’s Charcoal and Chops Braai Challenge in Richards Bay.

The competition was part of the centre’s tourism and heritage promotion, Asambe Tourism Indaba Programme, and shoppers flocked to catch the flaming action and explore the cultural and environmental heritage, travel, crafts, tourism and leisure exhibitor stands.

Saturday’s line-up of activities included traditional music and dance items, Miss Tourism Queen Zululand competition and the battle of the braai masters. with real estate company Seeff taking the title.
