A MAN was held up, kidnapped and had more than R51 000 stolen from his bank account on Friday.
The incident occurred after William Ndlovu exited a bank in KwaMsane after withdrawing money from his account.
According to KwaMsane’s Captain Mdletshe, ‘Three armed men approached Ndlovu and forced him into a vehicle, then driving to Hluhluwe. Ndlovu woke up the following day in Hlabisa Hospital with no recollection as to how he got there.’
After been discharged from hospital Ndlovu went straight to the bank only to find that R51 000 had been withdrawn from his account during the past 24 hours.
No arrests have been made but a case of robbery and kidnapping have been opened.
