ALREADY enjoying the improved Empangeni Rail traffic flow, motorists have more good news in store as the second road-over-rail bridge opens to commuters early this week.
Construction engineer Drew Wilson of RHDHV confirmed on Friday that the ‘Bridge B’ opening was imminent, with just the final finishing to be completed.
Also close to finalisation is the Oilco robot intersection and that will bring the Rail Project section of highway, which commenced in April 2012, to an end.
The entire John Ross Parkway construction will then be complete, once some final finishing touches are applied.
