SIXTEEN year old, Siphiwokuhle Mbatha of the Obuka area, Melmoth, is missing.
She was last seen on Tuesday, 19 August at about 2.45pm when she was in Empangeni, near Power Spar, to draw money.
Her mother, Sinikeziwe Mbatha said she never returned home on Tuesday night.
‘Siphiwokuhle draws our grant money in Empangeni, and has always come home but on 19 August, she did not come home.
‘I am worried she was seen drawing the money. When I phoned her cellphone, a man answered and when I asked to speak to my daughter, he cut the call,’ Sinikeziwe said.
Police have traced the call to the Pongola area according to the mother.
Siphiwokuhle attends school in Melmoth and is in Grade 8.
