THE manhunt for the killers of elderly Meerensee couple Ernst and Lilo Boller continues.
The tragedy has also been reported in newspapers in Switzerland and Germany, where Ernst and Lilo were respectively born.
After living in South Africa for decades, the couple’s many friends, including Zululand Yacht Club members and ex-RBM colleagues and their ‘adopted’ family will honour the couple’s memory at a service to be held at 10am on Saturday at the yacht club.
The service will ‘focus on the positive’ and congregants are asked to not wear black clothing for the ‘celebration of life’.

I know people called me a coward for leaving SA but I value my life and do not intend to allow some murdering gangster to have his fun with me. I now live in a very cultured country without fear of such barbaric people left free to roam and kill whenever they feel like it. This latest gruesome double murder does indirectly affect me some 6000 miles away as these people were the god parents of my daughter in law so now what message do you think I will give to anyone who wishes to travel to SA from the UK? Be warned be very careful because it will more than likely be your very last holiday. SA you are one of the most beautiful countries to visit sit up and take stock and beat this scourge and your present government as they sit behind high walls and are immune to this and do not care a hoot about your safety. Stand up and be counted and put your fear and pride behind you and beg the world for help to combat this. Nelson Mandela never wanted this to be the case now you too can attempt to walk in his shoes as a tribute to the greatest SA leader of all times.
