TWO men in a green Nissan Sentra are pretending to be cops inspecting firearm safes.
The SAPS have urged community members not to allow them entry.
‘SAPS members will be in marked police vehicles, wear police uniforms and will make appointments prior to visits for inspections,’ said SAPS spokesperson Debbie Ferreira.

I am just what are the intentions of these guys pretending to be Cops.
Wish the could be found and arrested but its all lies to the community to work hand in hand with the police if we (community) see this vehicle to call the police
I think in reply to Sihle their reason for checking out the gun safes, is simple they want to see who has a safe and perhaps how many weapons one has. Later I think they will break into the houses and steal what weapons they want. Maybe wrong but makes sence to me.
My home was broken into and I was attacked and beaten up by three thugs. The first thing they demanded was my safe and firearms. Having a safe is an advert telling the thieves you have guns and valuables. I had neither but that only increased the beating I had to endure.
