DICE Cook-Off will be hosted on 3 October at the Umfolozi Casino Resort.

SIX chefs will battle it out to win the coveted Zululand Chef of the Year title at Umfolozi Casino Resort on 3 October at the fourth annual Zululand Observer ‘Do I Care Enough’ fundraiser.
Spicing up the kitchen on the night, these culinary maestros will chop, cube, dice and slave over hot stoves to prepare bite-size dishes to tantalise the judges’ and guests’ taste buds.
The competing chefs will present a blissful spread of starters and mains which will be judged by a panel of highly qualified food judges.
Durban based ‘The Fusion Cooking School’ Principal, Chef Patron and guest judge of the night, Shaun Smith will prepare a mouth-watering and delectable dessert.
Experience a night full of explosive flavours, as these talented chefs serve food fit for royalty!

Tickets cost R170 per person.
Funds raised at the cook-off will be donated to DICE which will be used for the ‘Christmas Cheer’ parcels providing food to families and gifts to children.
