The Goddard and Furby show

ST Catherine’s held its annual golf day on Saturday at the Empangeni Country Club and despite the gale force winds experienced around Zululand, the players bravely soldiered on.

The day belonged to B Goddard and M Furby on 46 points.

In second place was P Barnes and J Kraftt on 45 points and third place went to C Mthethwa and J Ngema, also on 45 points.

The men’s longest drive honours went to P Barnes, who was using a borrowed set of clubs, with B Dafel pulling out the big one in the ladies section.
