PASSENGERS had a narrow escape after a minibus taxi ploughs through the perimeter wall of Vanesfield flats on Friday afternoon.
The taxi was reportedly travelling at high speed when it hit another vehicle while trying to overtake.
The driver lost control and plunged down an embankment, crashed through a wall and finally made its stop against the Vanesfield building.
Tenants rushed to the scene to assist. Police and emergency personnel were quickly on the scene and no serious injuries were reported.
