IN keeping with the South African Bowling team garnering numerous gold medals at the Commonwealth games, the Empangeni Country Club Bowls Club not to be outdone, garnered 96 bowlers at the Empangeni Country Club (ECC) on Sunday.
This prestigious annual event attracted bowlers from throughout KZN and even two teams from as far afield as Bethlehem.
Participants thoroughly enjoyed the tournament, the reunion with old friends and the excellent catering by the ECC.
Fortunate beneficiary through the generosity of the bowlers was DICE (Do I Care Enough?) who welcomed the generous gift which is designated toward the comfort and sustenance of child headed families.
