Gentle giant heads to Pretoria
Zululand cricketer to face teams from the SA Academy and USASA (University) teams in Pretoria.
LOCAL cricketer, Neil Jordan, who was part of the SA Rural Cricket team that won the Future Cup in Kimberley, is now preparing for the upcoming cricket tournament to be played at the High Performance Centre in Pretoria from 18-25 August.
The 23-year-old is an all rounder who packs serious heat with ball in hand, and can knock the ball a mile.
He is known as a gentle giant, as he stands over 2m tall.
Jordan has been playing cricket since his primary school days and plays local league cricket for Felixton and premier league cricket for uThungulu.
He joined Felxiton at age 16 and represented Zululand Cricket from age 20.
He was selected for the KZN Rural team last year and this year, and will come up against the SA Academy and USASA (University) teams in Pretoria.
