AFTER power cuts severely affected large areas of Arboretum last week, residents of certain streets are warned that they are next on the switch-off list as planned maintenance work continues.
According to Ronald Scott, Senior Technical Officer in the City’s electrical department, streets fed by the Saligna 1 mini sub station will have no power between 9am and 4pm on Tuesday 19 August.
Affected will be Soetdoringsekel, Sycamore Spread, Cambridge Place, Kiaatkim and Kiepersolkolk.
The following week, 26 August will see electricity cut from 9am to 4pm at Kiepersolkolk, Mkulu Crescent, Ouhoutoord and Olienhoutkoppie.
