Meet the winners of the Mr and Mrs Wedding Fair contest.
WILL you marry me?
For the 12 finalists in the Mr and Mrs Wedding Fair, the question was asked, the yeses were given and the nerves as to who would win the contest heightened today, as the winners were announced.
Drum roll please…. Sfundo Ndlovu and Sphiwe Mthimkhulu received the most votes (SMS and Facebook likes) in the contest presented by Boardwalk Inkwazi Shopping Centre and the Zululand Observer.
The couple won numerous prizes including a R3 000 cash prize sponsored by Leather Gallery, a cocktail dress by Zetske van Pletzen and a night’s stay at the Protea Hotel in Hluhluwe.
Second place went to Siphelele Jiyane and Siphamandla Tembe.
Wesley Coertzen and Avril Snyman were placed third.
But nobody went away empty handed, the finalists all received a host of fabulous prizes from various sponsors.
More than 1 500 votes were cast over the past few weeks.
The criteria for judging was based on sms voting, Facebook likes on the ZO Facebook page.
