THE departments of education and health have lost the plot indeed to even consider handing out free condoms to school children, thereby going to the next level of moral decay.

We will only be fooled into thinking that it will solve problems, but on the contrary, it will cause a host of new problems.

Sexual promiscuity might be acceptable in certain quarters, but that does not make it right.

Our morals are already rotten to the core and seemingly getting worse.

Do we really want to allow this evil into our high schools in the name of pregnancy and disease prevention?

God’s plan is for us to abstain from sexual intimacy until marriage and have one partner for life.

The following consequences should speak for themselves – unwanted pregnancies, faced with a decision to kill your own unborn baby, being forced to drop out of school, financial implications of taking care of one’s baby, being rejected by your partner, destroyed future study and career plans, and disease.

According to American research, at its best one in six condoms fail and at its worst, one in three. The condoms that would be handed out at schools would not be of the greatest quality either. Abstinence is the only 100% safe to prevent pregnancies and disease.

What about the emotional damage caused? Emotional guilt, not joy, seems to be the companion of permissive sex.

Guilt, shame, insecurities and a destroyed self image will only compound the situation.

God did create sex within a marital context to be enjoyed between a husband and his wife. Waiting will allow a mutual learning experience by both spouses that brings real excitement and happiness.

Once you give away your virginity, you never get it back. You will remember the first time you had sex, for the rest of your life, regardless whether you remember it as good or bad experience. Make it a worthy and wholesome memory and wait until you are married. Your purity is the ultimate gift in marriage.

  1. Well if I cast my mind back a few years when the Government tried to hand out condoms to the masses that was a disaster.
They saw fit to staple the condom to a card giving instructions on how to use it.
The only problem was the staple went through the centre of the condom thus leaving 2 beautiful holes for the contents to escape from once used. I wonder how they will do this time
