Creating work for the people

The Zini River Estate has more than 300 people currently working on its development.

CREATING job opportunities in Zululand is a priority – and that is exactly what the Zini River Estate in Mtunzini is doing.

Currently employing more than 300 local people, including construction workers, landscapers, domestic workers and security guards, the estate is doing its bit to give back to the community.

Building company Foxcon, with Derek Chauke as General Manager, has been contracted to do 95% of the construction on the estate and employs more than a 100 people.

Imvula Security Services, contracted to provide 24-hour security to the estate, makes up another large percentage of the group.

Landscaper, domestic workers, general maintenance personal as well as administration staff make up the balance.

The development spans 85 hectares with a large portion reserved for conservation.

The estate has returned the land to its former natural beauty and splendour through rehabilitation of indigenous flora and fauna.
