Thousands of runners and walkers congrigate at the start of the 2014 Ricgards Bay Coal Terminal Charity Relay Run

THE 31st Richards Bay Coal Terminal(RBCT) Charity Relay Run was held on Saturday morning in Richards Bay attracting thousands of runners, walkers and spectators.

A highlight on the region’s athletics calendar, the 49.2km relay run is the second largest sporting event in Zululand. All proceeds raised from this event go towards deserving local charity organisations.

RBCT’s 2013 Charity Relay Run raised in excess of R130 000 for local charities making a positive impact in the local communities within which RBCT operates.
